In support of the Government of Jordan’s Response Plan for the Syria Crisis, the UNESCO Amman office, with the Government of Korea have implemented the project “Provision of Technical and Vocational Education and Training for Jordanian and Syrian Youth”. The project implemented in partnership with Al Quds College – Luminus Education with the presence of His Excellency the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea Mr. Lee Bum Yun and the representative of the United Nation Mrs. Costaza Farina, along with a representative of the Minister of Labor, Mr. Tariq Al-Rashdan, Director of the Employment Strategies and ETVET Council Affairs Unit.
175 Syrian men and women have been registered, and 75 Jordanian men and women have started their studies last month.
