During a historic tour of the Middle East, His Royal Highness, The Prince William, The Duke of Cambridge, visited Luminus Technical University College (LTUC) – a member of Luminus Education- on June 25th to learn about the organization’s remarkable efforts in supporting underprivileged youth across Jordan through its education-for-employment programs.
HRH, The Prince William, toured two of LTUC’s schools of excellence during his visit. The first part of the tour saw HRH visiting the SAE Creative Media School’s purpose-designed facilities, which feature some of the most advanced studios and equipment in the region.
Following that, His Royal Highness, The Prince William, inaugurated the state-of-the-art School of Hospitality and Tourism at LTUC. The School is specifically designed to simulate a five-star hotel, allowing students to train and learn in actual working environments in the industry. LTUC’s Employment Hub helps them secure jobs upon completion of their studies. The new School comprises training kitchens; training restaurants and service bar; stewarding area; banquet facilities; housekeeping, laundry and front office training areas; as well as classrooms and common areas.
