A cooperation agreement was signed between Luminus Technical University College (LTUC) and the Islamic Educational College Schools to offer vocational training for high school students, in partnership with Pearson International for Education in the following fields:
- Arts & Designs
- Music
- Engineering
- Creative Media Production
- Fine Arts
- Hotel Management
Students who have completed the tenth grade in all public and private schools in the Kingdom can enroll in this program and obtain an international certificate after passing the second grade of secondary school, which is equivalent to the General Secondary Education Certificate (Tawjihi). Students can then enroll in local and international universities, as the certificate is accredited globally.
This agreement allows secondary school students the following:
- To experience university life through practicing practical courses and training at LTUC campus for 3 days.
- To conduct summer practical training in international institutions.
Notably, LTUC is Jordan’s leading college offering diplomas and 12 bachelor programs in various and exclusive technical and vocational fields such as Cloud Computing, which considers the first of its kind in Jordan and the region. LTUC is the only college in the kingdom that grants an international diploma (HND Level 5), which helps students to continue their studies in different universities without taking a comprehensive exam, in addition to an intermediate and technical university diploma.
The Islamic Educational College Schools is the only school in Jordan that provides all types of educational programs; National, American, British, International Baccalaureate for both genders.
It is also distinguished by the use of the latest teaching, communication and technology methods that are provided through different programs to students; cultural exchange, university academic advising, leadership and life skills, applied arts and innovation.
