The School of Creative Media (SAE) at LTUC announced that three of its AR/VR students got the top three places in the “Medical VR Advertisement using VR Technology” – the first contest for AR/VR held by a pharmaceutical company called Novarits.
The winning students proved their exceptional skills and created brilliant Augmented and Virtual Reality medical advertisements that were approved as advertising material by Novarits, to market one of its products locally and regionally.
SAE formally honored the students in an award ceremony to publicly celebrate this success achieved through the sheer hard work and perseverance of their students as well as teachers.
Ghazal Bani Hani received $7000, Mahommed Alhassan received $2000, Marwan Mahjoub, Omar Hishmeh and Malek Bakeer received $1000.
“They have not only made us proud but brought accolades to our school and have given it a good reputation worldwide”, said the academic manager Mr. Muhannad Al-Dasouqi.
Notably, SAE Institute at LTUC offers high-quality professional training, soft skills as well as technical education tailored to address the clear gap between the skillsets and the region’s labor market needs. SAE officially launched its Bachelor’s degrees in Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality in 2018 and was widely recognized as one of the premier schools when it comes to putting the latest technology in the hands of students.
